About the Course:
Embark on a fulfilling career in pharmacy with the Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) program at JS Diploma Pharmacy & Nursing College (JSDNC), approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and affiliated with the State Pharmacy Council. This intensive 2-year program provides a solid foundation in pharmaceutical science and practice, preparing students for entry-level roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
The D.Pharma curriculum is designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills in pharmacy, covering key areas such as pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, and pharmacognosy. Through a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory work, and practical training, students gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical compounding, dispensing, and patient counseling.
Upon completion of the D.Pharma program, graduates are eligible for registration as pharmacists and can pursue various career pathways. Graduates may find employment opportunities in retail pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufacturing units, and research laboratories. Additionally, D.Pharma serves as a stepping stone for further education, enabling graduates to pursue advanced degrees in pharmacy or related fields.

Eligibility:
- Candidates must be between 17 to 33 years of age as of December 31st of the admission year.
- Applicants should have completed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English, or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- Candidates must meet the prescribed medical fitness criteria.
